Brenda Joy Crain, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 11, 1941, in Rutherford County, North Carolina.
Brenda embarked on a remarkable career as an Executive Secretary in a Rutherfordton NC law firm for many years. Her work ethic and dedication were unmatched, earning her a high profile within the firm. Even in retirement, Brenda continued to contribute her skills by working alongside her husband in his business in Atlanta, GA. Her commitment to excellence was evident in everything she did.
One of Brenda's trademarks was her impeccable sense of style. She had an innate ability to dress elegantly and always looked stunning. Brenda had a wise and kindhearted spirit that endeared her to everyone she met. She possessed a servant's heart and found immense joy in helping others. She was known as a Prayer Warrior—a person with unwavering faith who uplifted those around her through prayer. Proud of the accomplishments she made during her career, Brenda also sacrificed to care for her family—an accomplishment that brought her great pride. Her devotion and selflessness were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Brenda is survived and will be dearly missed by her grandsons; Chad Hamrick, Joseph Craig and his wife, Leanne, Lyle Walker, and his wife, Michelle, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hunter and her husband, Greg, great-grandchildren; Victoria Shey, Sommer Davis, Gabriella, Mathew, Kaleb, Wyatt, Bryanna, Adalyn, Cooper, and Carson and a great-greatgrandchild, Daylin.
