Brenda Collins

Brenda Lee "Nanny" Collins, 59, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home. Born April 9, 1957, in Bethesda, MD, she was the daughter of the late Francis Leo Hutchinson and Lottie Estelle Howard Hutchinson. She adored her family and was adored by them. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and trips to the mountains with her husband, "B". Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Bruce Allen Collins; sons, Ron Settle (Julie) of Spartanburg, SC and Roy Howes (Tammy) of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Gracie, Luke, and Hutch Settle, and Kendall Howes; sisters, Caroline Cash and JoAnne Thompson, both of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Michael Hutchinson (Krystal) of Kirchheim, Germany, Clarence Hutchinson (Joyce) of Thurmont, MD, and Kenneth Hutchinson (Linda) of Cocoa Beach, FL; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Lizzie and Ralph Hawthorne of Brunswick, MD. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, by the Rev. Kenneth Cash and the Rev. Jan King.
