Boyce Dolar Potter, 84, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg. Born March 15, 1927, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Boyce Dolar Potter Sr. and Pearl Jordan Potter. After 27 years of service, Mr. Potter retired as a truck driver for the Spartanburg County Dept. of Roads and Bridges. He was of the Baptist faith, an auctioneer, and received his Business Degree from Limestone College. Survivors include his loving wife Betty Faye Webb Potter; several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, James Webb (Faye) of Darlington, SC; and his faithful poodle companion, Nellie. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011, in Sunset Memorial Park, by the Rev. Peter A. Waid. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
