Boyce Parker

Boyce Dean Parker, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born October 5, 1943, in Pacolet, SC, he was the son of the late Paul William Parker Sr. and Flossie Louise Johnson Parker. A 1961 graduate of Pacolet High School and Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard for six years, Mr. Parker was employed for 36 years with Kusters Zima Corporation. He was a member of Powell Presbyterian Church. Surviving is his beloved wife of 46 years, Linda Gail Moore Parker; son, Michael Dean Parker of Atlanta, GA; and sister, Betty Louise Parker Thompson (Jimmie Huss) of Pacolet, SC. He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul William "Bill" Parker, Jr. and Joe Dan Parker. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
