Bonnie Mae Smith, 76, of 4526 Bible Church Road, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at her home. Born April 16, 1934 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late James Darnel and Altie Elizabeth Seay Petty and wife of the late Jacque A. Smith. She was a retired Outpatient Clinic clerk at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a member of Boiling Spring First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Powell of Inman and Sharon Leonard and husband Gary of Boiling Springs; a son, Phillip Cromer of California; three brothers, James Petty and Buster Petty of Boiling Springs and Troy Petty of Virginia; two sisters, Ruth Mason of Boiling Springs and Ruby Cox of Duncan; three grandchildren, Vincent Powell of Spartanburg, Forrest Sanders of Boiling Springs, and Christyne Tripam of Duncan. She is predeceased by a brother, Paul Petty and a sister, Sis Montieth. Visitation will be 5:00-7:30 P.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bobby G. Lindsey. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.
