Bonnie Martin

Bonnie Dean Martin, 76, of Boiling Springs, SC was called to her Heavenly home, March 25, 2021. Born July 15, 1944 in Greensboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Violet Oxendine Walker and the widow of Robert L. Martin. Bonnie was retired from the University of South Carolina Upstate. She was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. Survivors include her daughters, DeAnna Dempsey and Chrissy Wright, son, Brian Martin, granddaughters, Brittany Dempsey, Kayla Dempsey, Tiffany Wright, Zoe Martin, Bergin Martin, and grandson, Bodhi Martin; and her sister, Coella Holt. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family request that all memorials be made to The Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Receiving of friends and family will be at the family home 4:00 - 6:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021.
