Bonnie Cash

Bonnie Georgia Cash, 31, was unexpectedly called away from her earthly home on Sunday, May 19, 2013. Bonnie lived with and is survived by her mother, Susan Cash of 331 Bellhaven Lane, Spartanburg. She also had a residence in a Charles Lea home at 103 Ridgewood Drive, Spartanburg. Bonnie was predeceased by her father, Roy E. Cash Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Bettye and Robert Young; and paternal grandfather, Roy E. Cash Sr. She is survived by her sister, Allie Cash, and her husband Jason Higgins; a niece, Elaina Vaughn; nephew, Nathan Higgins; and her paternal grandmother, Beulah Cash. Also left behind, are her aunts, Robin, Becky, and Jenny; and an uncle, Mike. She also leaves her special friends, Doug and Wil Foster, as well as, many, many other friends, relatives, and caregivers, who loved her dearly and who were touched by her too short life. Bonnie attended McCarthy School and graduated from Dorman High School. She also has degrees from the USC Upstate/Charles Lea Center Educational Enrichment Program. She worked at Ingles Market for many years and was loved by the staff and her customers she helped. Bonnie was an accomplished swimmer and bowler having won medals in swimming at the National Special Olympic Games in 2010. She also held a black belt in karate. Bonnie was dedicated to the Lord by her parents in 1982 at First Baptist Church of Lyman. Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by Mrs. Debbie Sobeski. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
