Bobby Youngblood

Bobby N. Youngblood, 62, of Ellenboro, NC passed away on July 23, 2022, at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was born August 7, 1959, to the late Jolie Jasper and Peggy Jean Sanders Youngblood.

Bobby loved his family and cared for all animals. Flowers brought him great joy and he had a passion for Marvel Comics. He was employed at Nestle for 23 years before he retired.

Survivors include his partner of 27 years, Henry McGinnis, Jr. of Ellenboro, NC; siblings, Hilda Johnson (Bailey) of Campobello, SC, Dianne Schmidt (Gene) of Burlington, NC, Randy Youngblood of Pacolet, SC, and Patricia Lundy (Ron) of Greer, SC; nieces and nephews, Michael, Kristy, Gary, Shane, Angel, Tiffany, Paige, Marlana, Chase, and Jenna; and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was very dear to the entire McGinnis family; he was like a son to Henry and Alma McGinnis. He loved his favorite fur baby, his cat Jack.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at New Hope United Methodist Church, 154 New Hope Church Road, Jonesville, SC 29353, conducted by Pastor Fran Love. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
