Bobby Tessnear

Bobby Fredrick Tessnear, 73, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 6, 1941, in Pacolet, SC, he was the son of the late Fred Samuel and Sara Louise Weathers Tessnear. Mr. Tessnear was a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Service Master after 35 years of service. Surviving is his beloved wife of 54 years, Dorothy "Dot" Roberts Tessnear; daughter, Debbie Tidd of Pacolet, SC; sons, Todd Tessnear (Laura) of Pacolet, SC, and Mark Tessnear of the home; grandchildren, Heather (Jason), Blair, Lindsay, Kassidy, Josh (Sheri), and Noah; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Avery, and Bowen; sister, Margaret Rodriguez of Jonesville, SC; and brother, Billy Tessnear of Jonesville, SC. He was predeceased by a grandchild, Brooks; sisters, Sara Frances Howard and Virginia Mae Knighten; and brother, Jackie Dean Tessnear. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier and Mr. Bill Crocker. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
