Bobby Scruggs

Bobby N. Scruggs, 73, formerly of 147 Dover Road, graduated to Eternal Life with his Lord Jesus on Friday, July 9, 2010 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home. Born October 9, 1936, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late William Carl and Blondine Pettit Scruggs. He was a retired customer service representative with Northwest Airlines, a member of Powell Presbyterian Church, a former volunteer of Mobile Meals, and was active with Right to Life, Parkinson Support Group, the First Monday Club, and was a veteran of the U.S Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hayes Scruggs; two daughters, Katrina Lanford and husband Rev. Terry of Boiling Springs and Lisa Voorhees and husband Todd of Longwood, FL; four grandchildren, Andy and Kalie Lanford and Ashley and Bryce Voorhees; a brother, Kenneth G. Scruggs of Boiling Springs; a sister, Deborah Foster of Gaffney; one nephew and five nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Waddell. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Floyd's North Street Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Powell Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Fred Thompson, the Rev.
