Bobby Keenan

Bobby Gene Keenan, 60, of Gaffney, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at his home. Born April 2, 1950, he was the son of the late William Robert and Frances Mae Jones Keenan and husband of the late Carolyn Ogle Keenan. Mr. Keenan was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Gaffney, and a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight. Survivors include his son, Robert Keenan of the home; five brothers, Arthur "Butch" Keenan, Joseph Keenan, Dale Keenan, David Keenan all of Gaffney, and Michael Keenan of Cowpens; close friends, Ronnie & Reba Waddell and Wayne & Irene Bishop. He was predeceased by two brothers, Billy Keenan and Terry Keenan. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Terry Duvall. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 432 North Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379.
