Bobby Johnson, Sr.

Bobby Joe Johnson, Sr., 72, of Pauline, SC, died Friday, September 18, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 4, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, he is the son of James Charles Johnson and the late Helen Barnett Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from MEMC Electronics and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of Whitney Masonic Lodge #264 and was a Shriner. Surviving are his daughter, Laurie Denise Bradley, of Wellford, SC; son, Bobby J. Johnson, Jr. (Tiffany) of Inman, SC; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Debbie Johnson Lindsay, of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Randy J. Johnson of Duncan, SC; and fiancé, Vickie Rich of Bostic, NC. He was predeceased by two sisters, Billie Ann Johnson and Donna J. Johnson. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Memorial services will follow at 3:30 PM, conducted by the Rev. Greg Black and the Rev. Bobby Gantt. A private family burial service will be arranged at a later date.
