Bobby Biggerstaff Sr.

Bobby Stanley Biggerstaff, Sr., 81, of Campobello, SC, died peacefully Monday, August 10, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 27, 1933 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Graham Butler and Cassie Lee Biggerstaff. Mr. Biggerstaff was the retired owner of Biggerstaff Grocery that was established in 1950 and still in business today run by his son. His life involved around work and family. Bruno was a graduate of Fairforest High School, class of 1955, where he was a star football player. He was an avid golfer and ballroom dancer with the Quaddrill Dance Club. He and Peggy enjoyed going to watch the South Carolina Gamecocks football team every weekend and going on cruises with friends. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Peggy Battle Biggerstaff; children, Lisa Biggerstaff and Renee Garner, both of Inman, SC, and Stanley Biggerstaff (Sondra) of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Dillon Garner of Inman, SC, Byan, Danielle and Dakota Biggerstaff, all of Spartanburg, SC, Brandon Keith of Charleston, SC; and the family Boston Terrier, Maggie. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Biggerstaff and four brothers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, 2015, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC, 29307.
