Bobbie Knight

Bobbie Rape Knight, 75, of Gaffney, SC, died Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cherokee Medical Center. Born May 12, 1947, in Chester, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Walter Rape.

Bobbie was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and was retired from Spring City Knitting Company. She attended Central Baptist Church of Gaffney.

Survivors include her mother, Gladys Marie Steadman Rape of Blacksburg, SC; her husband, Albert Norman Knight of the home; daughter, Tracy Y. Knight of Cowpens, SC; son, Charles A. Knight of Gaffney, SC; four grandchildren, Veronica Shippy (Jamaal Smith), J.B. Shippy, Michael Shippy, and Joshua Porter; six great grandchildren, Za’Riah, Peyton, Iana, Isaiah, Josiah and Kynlee; her sisters, Donna Wylie, Jane Dover (Eddie), Lynn Collins (Nathan); and her brother, Robin Rape (Kim). Along with her father, she was predeceased by a brother, Terry Rape.

No services will be held at this time.
