Blanche Schramm

Blanche Wilson Dobbins Schramm, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Magnolia Place-Spartanburg. Born September 24, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Garfield and Lillie Bell Bishop Wilson. Mrs. Schramm was a member of Grace Baptist Church and worked for Butte-Knit for 25 years. Survivors include her sons, Fred A. Dobbins (Patty) of Lyman, SC, and Joe Dobbins (Diana) of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Abby Walker of Italy, Kevin Wagner of Detroit, MI, David Wagner of Taylors, SC, and Kyle Dobbins of Lyman, SC; six great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Wilson (Sylvia) of Charlotte, NC; and son-in-law, Stanley "Chub" Bell of Inman, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Hollis Lee Dobbins, and second husband, Richard C. Schramm; daughter, Brenda D. Bell; son, Steve A. Dobbins; grandson, Brian Dobbins; and brother, Norman Wilson. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, by the Rev. Joe Mosley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
