Blanche Fowler McCarley, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at her home. Born in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara Mae Fowler, and widow of Billy McCarley. Mrs. McCarley was the retired owner of Fowler Cleaners and co-owner of McCarley Towing. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sister, Mary R. Lawson (Paul) of Spartanburg, SC; nieces, Sandra Good, Kathy Owings, and Crystal Williamson; nephew, Marvin Lawson; great-nieces, Tracy Yarborough and Tammy Allison; great-nephews, Randall Lawson and Brian Lawson; great-great nieces, Brianna McKenzie League, Madison Nicole League, and Ariel Allison; and great-great nephews, Landon Chandler Mullinax, Logan and Noah Allison. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Ann Harling Emery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by Pastor Frankie Taylor and Pastor Roger Allison. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
