Blanche Hall

Blanche Penley Hall, 90, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Wesley Court Assisted Living. Born May 27, 1931 in Weaverville, NC, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Donnie Elizabeth B. Penley and was the wife of 59 years to the late Vaughn Tildon Hall.

Blanche was retired from Raycord Co. Inc. She enjoyed sewing and loved her family. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church of Pacolet and of the Ladies Sunday School class at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Steadman of Boiling Springs, SC; her sons, Ricky Hall (Cindy) of Inman, SC, Randy Hall of Mars Hill, NC, and Rodney Hall (Julie) of Landrum, SC, son-in-law, Jack Colpetzer of Boiling Springs, SC; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a great-grandson, Caleb Neal Foster; a son, Ronnie Hall, a daughter, Yavonne Colpetzer, daughter-in-law, Nancy Hall, sister, June Fox, and brother Charles Penley.

Visitation will be at 12:00 – 12:45 PM, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A Funeral service will be 1:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Jackie Carrigan. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy. 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
