Billy Kesler

Billy U. Kesler, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, January 7, 2017, at his home. Born August 24, 1934, in Laurens County, SC, he was the son of the late Uluse Levi "Coley" Kesler and Ocie Mae Hammond Kesler. A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Kesler was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday School Class, and retired supervisor with Spartan Mills. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Lois Hammett Kesler; daughter, Lori A. Ciotta of Spartanburg, SC; grandsons, Anthony Joseph Ciotta III and Adam Jacob Ciotta, both of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Dianne Wines of Spartanburg, SC; brother, Ernest Kesler (Kaye) of Spartanburg, SC; and devoted canine, Baby Rose. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Grace Lavender; and son-in-law, Anthony Joseph Ciotta, Jr. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Dusty Martin and the Rev. Ronnie Norris. Pallbearers are Anthony Joseph Ciotta III, Adam Jacob Ciotta, Ernest Kesler, Scott Kesler, Rodney Hammett, and Norman Parr.
