Billy Bryant

Billy Gene Bryant, 81, of Pacolet, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home-Anderson. Born September 5, 1930, in Pacolet Mills, SC, he was the son of the late Virgil Allen and Beatrice Robinson Bryant, and husband of the late Peggy Genobles Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a fabric designer for Milliken & Company, and attended The Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior. Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Bryant Carey and husband Dave of Matthews, NC; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Gene Bryant. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Pacolet Methodist Cemetery, Pacolet, SC, by the Rev. Ted Kalaw.
