Betty Rochester Ward

Betty Joyce Rochester Ward, 91, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 7, 2023, at Inverness of Spartanburg.  She was born on October 11, 1932, in Union County, SC, a daughter of the late Ezell and Camilla Fowler Rochester. Betty was the wife of the late Robert William “Bob” Ward. She was a member of Pacolet United Methodist Church. 

Surviving are her daughters, Debra Easler of Greenwood, SC and Donna Foster of Jonesville, SC; her son, Robert Ward of Jonesville, SC; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rita Webber and Mary Jo White of Jonesville, SC.  Betty was predeceased by three sons, Roger, Barry and Ricky Ward; a grandson, Bryson Ward; and her brother, Grady Rochester. 

Visitation will be held from 2:00-2:45 pm Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Kuhr.  Burial will be in Pacolet Methodist Cemetery, Hillbrook Circle, Pacolet, SC 29372.
