Betty Marie Branch Suddeth, 86, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Upstate Community Hospice House. Born November 16, 1936 in Landrum, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carl Edward and Maude Kesterson Branch.
Betty was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and retired from Milliken. She enjoyed cooking delicious meals for her family, traveling in her RV, especially to camp meetings with her beloved church friends and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Church for 54 years.
Survivors are three sons, Sam J. Suddeth (Christina), Dennis Lee Suddeth, and Daniel Jason Suddeth; two daughters, Teresa Diane Suddeth and Tina Spencer Willingham (Billy); grandchildren, Chris Suddeth (Lori), Shane Suddeth, Mary Hammond Leverette, Becka Gracey Sanders (Caleb), Ashley Hall (Dustin), Alison Spencer, Simon Bagwell; great grandchildren, KyLee, Laila, Ruby, Jayden, Jordan, Jaxon, Kinsley, Kelsey, Maddox, Spencer and Beckett; brother, Gerald Branch (Mary) of San Antonio, TX; many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sam Suddeth Sr.; brothers, Boyce, Clarence, Marvin, and Lloyd Branch.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023, 12:00-12:45PM, at Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services to follow conducted by The Rev. Dr. Terry McMillian and The Rev. Tommy Turner.
Burial will be at Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Hwy 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
The family is gathering at the home of her daughter, Tina Spencer Willingham in Duncan.
