Betty Slonaker

Betty C. Slonaker, 82, of Spartanburg, SC, met her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born August 7, 1929, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the widow of Ralph P. Slonaker, and daughter of the late George W. and Malissa S. Carroll. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn L. Ragland of Hagerstown, MD, and Melissa L. Garrett and husband Chuck of Spartanburg, SC; son, Wesley P. Slonaker of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, David Carroll of Hagerstown, MD. She was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Brown's Funeral Home Chapel in Martinsburg, WV. Funerals services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. William C. Crowe. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, WV.
