Betty Taylor

Betty Smith Taylor, 80, of Chesnee died Friday, October 19, 2012 at her home. Born April 5, 1932 in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie Sherbert Smith. She was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church and a former member of Bethel Assembly of God. She was also a former teacher with Child Evangelism Ministeries. Surviving are her husband, Boyce Walker Taylor, Jr.; daughters, Deborah Cartwright and husband Keith and Tammie Thomas and husband Gary; and son, Barry L. Taylor, Sr. and wife Kathy. She was the grandmother of nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be conducted by the Rev.
