Betty Quinn

Betty Ann Long Quinn, 80, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at her home. Born September 13, 1929, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Tommy Long and Estelle Flora Youngblood Long Russell, and the widow of W. C. "Jack" Quinn. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Pam West and husband Vince of Spartanburg, and Tina Quinn of Inman; a son, W. C. "Chuck" Quinn II and wife Diana of Moore; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a beloved sister-in-law, Maudie Bridgeman of Spartanburg; a dear friend, Judy Cantrell of Chesnee; and her beloved doggie, Maggie. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Berggrun, and three sisters, Edna Witt, Helen Littell, and Geraldine Earnhardt. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Matthew Eddleman. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
