Betty Powell

Betty Lou Powell, 79, of Boiling Springs, died Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 15, 1930, in Boiling Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late Gideon Lee and Beryrl Ledford Powell. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Karen Davis and Jackie L. Whiteside, both of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in Sunset Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone.
