Betty Anderson

Betty Jean Finch Anderson, 79, formerly of Jackson Street, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at White Oak Manor. Born December 6, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Crayton and Alice Aileen Gwinn Finch and the former wife of the late C. Howard Anderson. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Bridges and her husband O'Neil of Spartanburg; a sister, Myra McMackin of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patryce Funderburk; a son, Steven Anderson; a grandson, Clay Smith; and a brother, James C. Finch, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Daniel Godfrey. The family is at the home of her daughter.
