Betty Henderson

Betty Jane Cash Henderson, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, December 11, 2017, at Physical Rehabilitation & Wellness Center of Spartanburg. Born July 25, 1934, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Myrtle Taylor Cash. Mrs. Henderson loved fishing, bowling, and traveling. She was a member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church and retired from Cliffdale Elementary School District 3 after 10 years of service. Survivors include her husband of over 40 years, George Henderson of the home; daughter, Linda R. Lee (Jack) of Chesnee, SC; sons, Charles Riley of Startex, SC and Ronnie Riley of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Larry Dean Riley; four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church, 2058 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303, with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Tim Hackett. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
