Betty Jo Greenway Heatherly

Betty Jo Greenway Heatherly, 87, of Boiling Springs, died peacefully Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Lakewood Assisted Living with family by her side. A native of Green Creek, NC, she was born on November 23, 1936, a daughter of the late Joseph William and Naomi Vernell Cantrell Greenway and the wife of the late Charles R. (Curly) Heatherly. 

She was a graduate of Green Creek High School, Cecil’s Business College, and retired from the corporate offices of Mayfair Mills and a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her daughters, Charlene Heatherly Graham (Gregg) and Sharon Heatherly Brewer (Tom); grandchildren, Brittany Graham, Bradley Graham (Hannah), Lauren Brewer Hill (Colby) and Caitlyn Brewer Hornacek (Landon); great grandchildren, Oliver Graham, Brynlee Hill, Charlee Kate Hill, Cooper Hornacek and Hudson Hornacek; sister, Martha Hayes; brother, Joe Greenway (Leneora). She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Wilkins. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett and the Rev. Kris Showen. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
