Betty Haskell

Betty Lee Haskell, 67, of Gaffney, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born February 24, 1944, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Pansy Lee. Betty was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Gaffney. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Lee Curtiss Haskell; daughters, Charlene Curtiss (Peter J.) of Beaufort, SC, Donna Kay Niver (Tim) of Chapin, SC; son, Damian L. Hoffman of Lexington, SC; eight grandchildren; stepdaughter, Shannon Lee Turner (Michael) of Jacksonville, FL; and five sisters. She was predeceased by one brother. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, August 19, 2011, in Northside Baptist Church, Gaffney, by the Rev. Edward McAbee. Burial will be in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 944 N. Logan St., Gaffney, SC 29341. The family is at the home.
