Betty Snow Glover, 84, of Greer, SC, died Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Greer Rehabilitation. Born June 2, 1933, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Ernest and Bernice McElrath Snow and widow of James Herbert Glover. A graduate of the Laboratory Technology Program at Spartanburg General Hospital, Mrs. Glover retired after 42 years of service as a laboratory technician at The Doctor's Clinic in Greer. She was a lifelong member of Sharon United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Carole Glover Sloan of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Tyler James Sloan of Washington DC and Anna Elizabeth Sloan Hemmings (Jared) of Marietta, GA; and nieces, Carole Glover Davis of Ellijay, GA and Fran Taylor Godfrey of Greenville, SC. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC. Memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church, 1421 Reidville Sharon Road, Greer, SC 29651; or the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302 online at www.alz.org.
