Betty Sullivan Fain, 77, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, October 17, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 24, 1937, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Boyd "Wig" and Bonnie Catherine Whitlock Sullivan, and widow of Marshall Deree "Mutt" Fain. Mrs. Fain was a member of Clifton Second Baptist Church and retired from Alkahn Labels Inc. She loved country line dancing which she enjoyed for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Guyton Allen (Mitchell) of Florence, SC; son, Darrell Deree Fain (Angela) of Spartanburg, SC; step-son, Marshall Aaron Fain (Nancy) of Spartanburg, SC; step-daughter, Susan Fain Bennett (Ricky) of Roebuck, SC; grandson, Jonathan Fain (Brittany) of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandson, Colton Fain; brothers, Joe Lee Sullivan (Barbara) and Robert Lewis Sullivan (Diane), both of Boiling Springs, SC; special caregiver and dear friend, Brenda Fowler; and a niece, Brenda Parsons. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Sullivan; and step-daughter, Rebecca Lynn Miller. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 19, 2014, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Michael Stubblefield. Visitation will follow at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
