Betty Coffey

Betty Cook Coffey, 66, of Spartanburg, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 28, 1945, in Marion, NC to the late Harley Cook and Lila Francis Cook-Durham. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, J. L. Coffey; one son, Bryan Coffey; and two daughters, Tracy Dunaway and Christy Kesler. In addition to her family, she is survived by three sisters; one brother; and a stepfather. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Coffey; and a brother, Tommy Cook. She was the proud Nanny to ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:45 PM Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Services will follow at 3:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Stephen Johnson and the Rev. Gary Long. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
