Ben Jolley Jr.

Benjamin Floyd Jolley, Jr., 70, of Boiling Springs, SC died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born August 25, 1947, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Jeanette Belcher Jolley Fuller of Boiling Springs, SC and the late Benjamin Floyd Jolley, Sr. Ben was recently retired from Waldrop, Inc. as a technician. A faithful member of North Spartanburg Church of God, he served as a gifted musician and on the Elders Board. Ben was a gracious gentleman who loved his Lord, family, church and everyone. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for all he met. Music was another of Ben's great loves and it brought him great pleasure. Survivors include his loving wife, Denise Walker Jolley; daughter, Melanie Jolley Matthews (Glenn) of Columbia, SC; two grandsons, Clay Johnson of Spartanburg, SC and Ben Johnson of Columbia, SC. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert Jolley of Inman, SC. Visitation will be 12:30 - 1:45 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at North Spartanburg Church of God with funeral services following at 2:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Larry D. Flippo and The Rev. Kevin Hand. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
