Beatrice Hipps

Beatrice Mae Sizemore Hipps, 86, of Pacolet, died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at White Oak Manor. Born August 14, 1924 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Francis Boyd and Beulah Mae Fleming Sizemore and was wife of the late Mason General Hipps. She retired from Beaumont Mills and was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia H. Addis and husband Tony of Jonesville, SC; two sisters, Elizabeth Sizemore Fuller of Pacolet and Angelee Fleming of Mountain View Nursing Home; two grandsons, Jim Addis and wife Wanda of Arcadia and Josh Addis and fianceé Dana Garner of Union; and a special beloved great-granddaughter, Makayla Addis. She was predeceased by three brothers, Gaston, Riley, and Jesse Sizemore. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. Visitation will follow at the Church. Memorials may be made to Pacolet First Baptist Church, 310 W. Main Street, Pacolet, SC 29372. The family is at the home, 171 Bryant Street, Pacolet, SC.
