Barbara Weathers

Barbara Annette Bruce Weathers, 72, of 350 Sutton Road, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born December 7, 1938 in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Lou Johnson Bruce and wife of the late Joe Wilson Weathers. Survivors include two daughters, Jamie Smith and Gail (Darnell) Cobb, both of Pacolet; four sons, Melvin Stafford, Larry (Jackie) Stafford, Gene (Kathy) Stafford, and Tim (Scarlett) Dillinger, all of Pacolet; four sisters, Carolyn Penland, Jackie Warren and Pat Felker, all of North Carolina, and Brenda Weathers of Cowpens; a brother, Jim Bruce of North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Brad Stafford, and a daughter-in-law, Doris Stafford. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Michael Rochester. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
