Barbara Temple

Barbara Temple, 77, of Wellford, SC, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her home. Born April 26, 1934, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late George Beadie Gosnell Owens, and wife for 36 years, of the late Kenny Lee Temple. Mrs. Temple was a member of North Spartanburg Church of God and very active in her church. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Dianne Millwood of Simpsonville, Patricia S. Livesay of Spartanburg, and Vickie L. McGraw of Wellford; son, Jimmy Ray Parris, Jr. of Cowpens; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Brookshire of Chesnee and Mary White of Gaffney; brothers, David Owens of Spartanburg and Kenneth Owens of Inman. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Elizabeth Wright. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012, at North Spartanburg Church of God, by the Rev. Larry D. Flippo. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
