Barbara Louise Gardner Strange, 78, of Spartanburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at her home. She was born on May 21, 1945, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Milledge Paul Gardner and Mary Louise Elizabeth Coates Gardner Coggins. She was also the daughter of the late Joseph Elbert Coggins.
Barbara was a former Postmistress at the Clifton and Moore Post Offices.
Surviving are her two sons, David Paul Moore (Debby) of Taylors, SC and Philip Gardner Moore (Lauri) of Chesnee; her two granddaughters, Carol Elizabeth Lance (Taylor) and Kristen Leann Moore (Noa Means); and her three great-grandsons, Gabriel and Dean Lance, and Nolan Moore.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. David Ervin.
