Barbara J. Sisk, 68, of Boiling Springs, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 27, 1942 in Fort Benning, GA, she was the daughter of the late H. Edward and Nora Eugenia Ledbetter McDowell. She was a pre-school teacher at Bethel United Methodist Church for 27 years and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, M. Douglas Sisk; three daughters, Carrie Jean Tanenbaum and husband Rick of Spartanburg, Cynthia Ann Sisk of Seattle, WA, and Jennifer Leigh Trudell and husband Mitchell of Boiling Springs; one son, Daniel D. Sisk and wife Lourdes of Moore; ten grandchildren, Marc D. Vinesett and wife Anna, Sara J. Vinesett, Ashley A. Vinesett, Robert Tanenbaum, Ross Tanenbaum, Gina Trudell, Ethan Trudell, Evan Trudell, Nora Rollins, and Natalie Trudell. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 P.M. Monday, February 14, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
