Barbara Nix

Barbara Ann Nix, 75, of Cowpens, SC, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital for Restorative Care. Born April 22, 1938, in Enoree, SC, she was the daughter of Harold and Frances Wilma Whitlock Keller, and widow of Horace Eugene Nix. Mrs. Nix enjoyed working in her yard, she loved her flowers, was of the Baptist faith, and formerly employed in the textile industry. Survivors include her brothers and sister, Gary Keller (Margaret), Joan Foster, all of Cowpens, SC, David Keller (Joyce) and John Keller (Patsy), all of Blytheville, AR; 12 nieces and nephews; and 14 grand-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by two sons, John Harold Nix and Michael Eugene Nix. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Andy Case. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family is at the home of Gary Keller.
