Barbara Ann "Bobbi" Corn Gay, 73, of Spartanburg, SC died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 3, 1943 in Arcadia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Alma Corn Inman. She was the widow of Rupert Thomas Gay. Mrs. Gay was the co-owner of North Village Laundry. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. Barbara loved her family. Survivors include her children, Stephen Gay (Pam) of Cross Hill; Ronald Gay of Gaffney; Jodie Gay (Donna) of Pacolet; Robert Gay (Tracy) of Greer; Patricia Gay of Spartanburg; Jessie Cooksey of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Brandy Nunez, Brandon Gay, Amber Millwood, April Mitchell, Christopher Cooksey, Courtney Cook, John Cooksey, Cody Gay, Dylan Gay, Dustin Gay, Josh Gay, Zachary Cooksey, Alexis Gay, Pamela Gay, and adopted grandson, Daniel Wilson; 10 greatgrandchildren. Along with her mother and husband, she was also predeceased by a grandson, Scooter Gay. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2017 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Cash and the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg First Baptist Church, c/o Sonshine Club, 250 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Brandy Nunez.
