Barbara Gaskins

Barbara Gainey Woodward Gaskins, 58, of Chesterfield, SC, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Magnolia Place-Greenville. Born September 1, 1958, in Cheraw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. Gainey and Letitia Ann Johnson Steen and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, Chesterfield, SC. Surviving are her sons, Bradley R. Woodward (Kelly) of Spartanburg, SC and Christopher L. Woodward of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor, Noah, Kristina, Hadley, and Hudson Woodward; brothers, Eric Gainey of Chesterfield, SC and Brian Gainey of Currituck, NC; sister, Sandra Gainey Jones of Hartsville, SC; and her canine companion, Zoey. A service honoring her memory will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Darrell Hatchell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church, 293 Zoar Road, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
