Barbara Louise Boyd Dellinger, 75, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at her home. Born October 30, 1936, in Charlotte, NC, she was the beloved wife, for 58 years, of the late Elmer Harold "Red" Dellinger, and daughter of the late James William "J.W." and Mary Louise Sutton Boyd. Mrs. Dellinger was a member of Roebuck Presbyterian Church and a former member of McGee Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and active in the scouting program. She was a graduate of Central Piedmont College and a former child development caseworker. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lynn Wallace of Charlotte, NC; sons, William Harold Dellinger of Fort Lauderdale, FL, David Paul Dellinger of Anderson, SC, and Kenneth Ray Dellinger of Cross Keys, SC; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Wayne Dellinger. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Friday, March 23, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. J. Ray Bobo. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
