Barbara Ann Caldwell Blanton, daughter of the late John D. Caldwell and Lena Holland Caldwell, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Leah B. Dorman; her grandson, Nicholas M. Dorman; her brother, Kenneth L. Caldwell (Debbie); her sisters, Alisa Perrella (Rick) and Joan Pye (Doug); and a special friend, Lee Edwards.
Barbara is also survived by eight nieces and nephews: Johnny Caldwell (Carmen), Kim Blackwell (Tony), Mark Pye, Chad Pye, Paige Holtzclaw (Jess), Candice Gosnell (Jim), Brittany Crissone, Kayla Perrella; 18 great-nieces and nephews: Katelin Harrington, Justin McCraw, Corbin Pye, Will Pye, Carson Swink, Brady Swink, Liam Swink, Sutton Holtzclaw, Cody Gosnell, Keely Gosnell, Belue Crissone, Layla Crissone, Amanda Bethune, Katlyn Marks, Elizabeth Marks, Samantha Blackwell, Michael Blackwell, Thomas Blackwell; and five great-great nieces and nephews: Alaina Blackwell, Channing Harrington, Piper Harrington, Chastin Bethune and Cadence Bethune.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Clayton Douglas Caldwell and John V. Caldwell, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Caldwell.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC, with visitation to be held 30 minutes prior to the service and immediately following at the graveside, as well as other times at the home of Ms. Blanton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Parkinson’s organization or other charity of your choice.
