Barbara Allen

Barbara "Nanny Bob" Hall Allen, 77, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at her home. Born May 5, 1937, in Boiling Springs, SC, she was the daughter of the late Garland George and Yettiv Quinn Hall, and widow of Hiram Charles Allen, Sr. Mrs. Allen was a member of the former Whitney Methodist Church. Surviving are sons, Chuck Allen (Margaret) of Charlotte, NC, and David Allen (Joy) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Nick, Candace, Jamie, Josh and Jacob; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Judy Moses, Rae Perrotta, Eileen Vertullo (Pat), and Rita Smith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Terry Hall. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mike Hamlet. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of David and Joy Allen.
