B. Cromer

Burchel Hayward Cromer, 82, of Spartanburg, died Friday, September 28, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 16, 1930, in Anderson County, SC, he was a son of the late William Pearl and Elvie Hilley Cromer. He was a veteran of the US Army, former contractor for Southern Cross Corp., an avid fisherman, and a member of Davis Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jane Dalton Cromer; sons, Mark Cromer of Boiling Springs, SC and Bert Cromer of Anderson, SC; daughters, Lisa Bedford of Spartanburg and Tracy Watson and husband Jackie of Cowpens; granddaughters, Heather Cromer, Kayla Watson, and Sara Watson; grandsons, Kyle Bedford and Dylan Bedford; great-grandson, Brayson Bedford; brother, Dwain Cromer of Rome, GA. He was predeceased by a sister, Jo Sartain. Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel.
