Austin Skinner

Austin Linder Skinner, 93, formerly of Oak Leaf Drive, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the Richard M. Campbell Veteran's Nursing Home in Anderson. Born April 20, 1916, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Albert and Eliza Armstrong Skinner and the husband of the late Edna Ammons Skinner. He was retired from the textile industry, a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by a sister, Vera Skinner Dobson. Graveside services with military rites by the SC State Guard Honors Team will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. William F.
