Audria Charles

Audria Griffin Charles, 85, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 7, 1927, in Lexington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bundy and Myrtle Reid Griffin and wife of the late of Harold Wallace Charles for 56 years. She was a graduate of Cecil's Business College, a longtime worker with home health care organizations, and a member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Don Charles and his wife, Carolyn, of Asheville, NC; and grandsons, Benjamin Harold Charles and Todd Everett Charles, also of Asheville. She was predeceased by a brother, Ivan Lynn Griffin. Visitation will be 12 noon to 12:45 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Scott S. Gilmer. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
