Audrey Koon

Audrey Laughter Koon, 83, of Tuba Street, Chatsworth, CA, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at Kaiser Permanente-Woodland Hills Hospital. Born May 19, 1929, in Campobello, SC, she was the widow of Colie Benjamin Koon and daughter of the late Marion Bryson and Jane Bradley Laughter. Mrs. Koon was formerly a member of Westgate Baptist Church in Spartanburg, then of Bible Baptist Church in Arleta, CA. In years past, Audrey was a cashier at Wacamaw Pottery. Survivors include her daughter, Elaine and husband Pastor Michael McCubbins of Chatsworth, CA; a son, Ronnie C. Koon and wife Connie of Levittown, PA; two brothers, Jack and Dean Laughter; two sisters, Barbara Moore and Rita Emory; 6 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00-2:45 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the Chapel, conducted by Pastor Michael McCubbins.
