Aubrey Mabry

Aubrey Wilton "Jack" Mabry, 83, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born November 3, 1928, in Pacolet, he was the son of the late Ivan Wilton and Almeta Wells Mabry, and husband of the late Evelyn Wright Mabry. Mr. Mabry served in the SC National Guard, then joined the U. S. Air Force. A graduate of Pacolet High School, he was the transportation manager with Milliken and Company with over 25 years of service, and a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Myra M. Stephens and husband Nicky of Roebuck, SC; son, James R. Mabry and wife Donna Lynne of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren, Daryl Stephens and wife Casie, Ryan Stephens and wife Sarah, Adam Stephens and wife Amanda, Rand Mabry, Jordan Mabry, and Joshua Mabry; five great-grandchildren, Karsten, Levi, Liberty, Wyatt, and Walker; sister, June M. Bryant of Spartanburg, SC; and brother, Bill Mabry and wife Alice of Olympia, WA. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. David Erwin.
