Armitta George

Armitta Jane Kimmons George, 91, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Lake Bowen, died Sunday, November 28, 2010. Born April 14, 1919 in Canton, NC, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Laura Jane Cantrell Kimmons and the wife of the late James George. Survivors include a son, James George and wife Barbara of Boomer, NC; a daughter, Joyce Hahn and husband Jack of Franklin, TN; three brothers, Ed Kimmons and Paul Kimmons of Inman, and Marvin Kimmons of Miami Springs, FL; two sisters, Ruby Holden of Inman and Annie Mae Sawyer of Duncan; four grandchildren, Tracy Hahn, Terry Hahn, Tammy Rosson, and Jimmy George; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams.
